LIFE IS A LADDER

Life is a ladder, some will climb fast but some will not have the strength to keep on the first rung they expire and return to mother earth. Some will have people to hold their hands to move faster, some will not. The latter will have to labour it through. Some will climb so slowly that they will not have got anywhere near the top before they are called back by mother earth.

Life is a ladder, some will climb up so desperately and recklessly fast, not minding that they step on the heads or hands of other climbers as long as they make it to the top, all is fair game. Some will climb steadily, not moving fast but yet not losing control. If they are lucky not to be called back to mother earth early, they stand neither great nor common men, neither rich nor poor, neither known nor unknown.

Life is a ladder, some unexpected situations will suddenly bring some down while some will suddenly be taken up, jumping through the rungs to greatness. Some will defecate and urinate on the ladder as they climb up, forgetting they must use the same rungs on their way down. We often forget no one ever stays permanently up there. No matter how high you climb, there comes a time you descend into the same situation you created on your way up and while up there. Every climber must descend to join the multitude at the base either through retirement, old age, sickness or a sudden date with mother earth which we call death.
