The Four Levels of Customer Satisfaction

Image
By Brian Tracy If sales are the engine that drives your business, then customer satisfaction is the fuel. Your ability to satisfy your customers is the critical determinant of your success in driving sales and growing your business. There are four levels of customer satisfaction, all based on the degree to which you meet customer expectations. The higher the level you achieve, the more you will build customer loyalty and the greater will be your success. Meet Customer Expectations The minimum requirement to simply stay in business—to survive—is to meet the expectations of your customers. At this level, your customers have no complaints. They are satisfied for the moment. But they are not loyal. If a competitor demonstrates that it can and will do more than merely meet their expectations, your customer will very quickly become ex-customers. Moreover, if you fail to meet their expectations, perhaps only one time, they will leave and find someone else who will. It can be instructi...

POWER OF LOGO

Image
It is often said that “a picture is worth a thousand words,” and this statement also rings true when it comes to corporate logos. Who among us doesn’t recognise Apple, Nike, Coca-Cola, or McDonald’s from just their logo? In their truest sense, corporate logos are a type of shorthand, allowing consumers to instantly recognise the company and its product. However, logos do not act alone but are part of a company’s visual brand identity program which includes the logo, the design, the colors used and the marketing message. As an example, consider the company that, in my own opinion, is the most widely known company brand in the world: Coca Cola. From its inception more than 120 years ago, the Coca-Cola logo has used the stylistic handwriting of Frank Robinson – no relation to the author – as part of the logo. The wavy red letter writing over a silver background is instantly recognizable whether it is on a can of soda or the cardboard packaging. ...

PMS (Practical Marketing and Selling)

Image
I am sure you will all agree with me that in recent years the need for marketers has greatly  Increased; virtually every organization in Nigeria now requests for 90% of the  services of the workforce to work as a marketer or sales persons, and the remaining 10% to share the administrative and managerial work. It is therefore obvious that the majority if available jobs is in marketing and the 90% of Nigerians in the labour market have no choice than to go for those jobs whether they have marketing experience or not. That is why we find engineers, pharmacists, geologists, accountants, economists, microbiologists, bio-chemists and many more in the marketing  department selling company  products-- doing the duties of marketers.  Certainly this will have negative effect on the company’s sales, productivity, brand image, customer satisfaction and loyalty and company's growth in general.
