FREEDOM FOR WOMEN IN AFRICA: A SYNOPSIS OF DEHUMANIZATION OF THE BLACK WOMAN

In this chauvinist society in Africa, the impossibility of asserting the women's rights and respect of girl’s child is worrisome compare to how the level of advocacy in other developed countries. Women have been degraded, oppress and depressed in Africa, they have been denied the opportunity to enjoy the same status their male counterparts do, because society doesn’t respect the views of women a large number of women have been abused by their male counterparts before they get married. These abuses could be verbal, sexual assault, emotional, and psychological.
It’s so appalling seeing that Nigeria consent age on sexual access is age 11 while other countries are 18, wouldn’t such law a negative impact on the emotional and physical aspect of such girl who is exposed to sexual abuse or access at that age, however, there has been one of the factors that have created abuses in marriage when men grow up to do such in their youth age. Sex has not been seen so sacred but with the advent of globalization, digitalization, and Jet- Age. Access to young minds in accessing pornographic sites is one of the problems, as the society focus on the respect of males right it depletes the rights of the females where there suppose to be more discipline given to men who interact with their male counterpart, treating their female counterpart with no right.

The lackadaisical attitude of males in given social respect to females is the essence of the rise of single mothers left with their ordeal of raising children with the unprepared minds alone and shattering, battering, and tattooing their lives making them silent amidst their ordeals. Shamefully, African leaders have not addressed this issues to the latter because they seek to be part of the problems, much African organization gives lip services to this problems until the same single motherhood leads to a high rate of populations and the depleting the social and psychological responsibility of men in the society.

This problem has taken a heightened part in this continent and has been looked into where victims of rape and other social abuser get away with the act, some might be charged with few fines paid to the coughers of the government whereas the abused will be left with no remedy. How global attention seek the face of women, who face the rape issues at a tender age and later become victims of sex hawking and human trafficking in other countries like Italy, America, Spain, Libya, Dubai, etc.
Poverty has promoted the reason many girls has been given to rich men has bride not minding the age, the consented parent feel happy to see how the rich man abuse girl child and derail her future, the same pattern is not far from those ladies of today who are u to age feeling goo to marry rich older men and facing abuse in their home later leading to high rate of divorce, these gullible acts make many ladies advocate for polyandry as the trendy way the actions play in Africa, their initial plans were to attain the age and marry responsible men.
In this our Africa part, educating them via workshops, seminar and other open learning will not be the only solution to this, but the need to advocate for the change in respect for girl child's right and women’s right, it fondly said that charity begins at home, the way we put or home or country determines the way other nations see us and view our readiness for their support. The advocacy should be deeply reached out to international bodies responsible for catering for the girl child right.

The vulnerability of women and children is devastating and calling the attention of the African government to review their various African constitutions in eradicating prostitution and other abuses made on women.
