Since the advent of the present pandemic ensuing global outcry and social disorder .Emerging nations have been finding it hard to grapple with the consequential effects which have deeply affected their lives in ramifications.The plights of these developed nations nations in alleviating poverty through programmes like Millennium Development Goals (MDG) and Sustainable Development Goals(SDG) have ceased to be active in this period where the impact of the pandemic have deeply affected these same donors of aid to emerging nations who survive with it.
This has surmounted to high level of unemployment, poverty and increase in social vices. if we ask; can these developed nations attend to emerging nations who have found it hard to be self sufficient and independent with identities known to them like Agricultural production and large exportation of cash crops and food crops in the 60s.This pandemic situations will questions our minds on how Africa will survive when she hasn't define her purpose line in areas that matters to lives and survival.
It would have been an opportunity for the fast rising nations like Nigeria in this continent to be a sub regional food producer has it always exhibited in the past instead of been confused on how to share food in emanating health crisis like this that has reduced the African population,due to our slow pace to react and act to pertinent issues like this we harbor the continuity of Neo-colonialism and further subjection of her positions to imperial actions.
However, there is need for urgent "jaw-jaw" among African leaders to be proactive to crucial issues before they get out of hand through acute meetings in sub regional and regional organization in order to foster cooperation and lend assistance to themselves in their various national issues.
