 WHAT IS INDECENT DRESSING?

Indecent dressing is the major cause of the various assault and sexual harassment recorded in the society. 

Indecent dressing is referred to as more specific term as the attitude of someone, male or female that dresses to showoff parts of their body such as breast, buttocks, or even the underwear particularly those of the ladies that need to be covered.

 Indecent dressing has so many effects, such as students who engage in the following activities: prostitution, robbery, lying, poor performance in school, rape and sexual harassment in the case of female students, cultism (mostly among the males, inability to complete one's studies).

Indecent dressing is now so common in public places like in the universities, offices and even churches. Students are taking it now as a pleasure and a chance of exposing their bodies to the opposite sex. They no longer wear clothes to cover their body, instead mini-skirt, bum-short, short gowns and even underwears are worn to school by our youths, the acclaimed leaders of tomorrow without considering the dangers that are associated with it. In the name of fashion ladies dress half-naked to attend functions, for instance in many countries jumpers, shorts, strapless, armless tops and dresses, low cut spaghetti straped tops, likewise the different boy styles like sagging, hot bosoms, low rider short-shorts, ripped jeans, mini skirts and the likes which they claim make them appear more attractive to the opposite sex and to others in public.

  WHAT ARE THE SOLUTION TO INDECENT DRESSING?

1. The parents should serve as good examples to their children by not encouraging them to buy these kind dresses or recommend it to them to attend party. Parent should also be given them attention and regulate the films they watch at home.

2. Dressing code should be introduced in higher institutions and given to all students. The mass media should also do more to promote decency in dressing among youths and there should be formation of campus brigades to check the dressing patterns of students. 

3. Our leader should enact law and place stiff punishment on any person that is culprit of indecent dressing in the society and to be punish for it.

4. Any company that want to employ any employee should first consider their dressing code before giving them appointment.
