Appreciate a Woman

    Women are leaders everywhere you look-from the CEO who runs a fortune 500 company to the housewife who raises her children and heads her household. Our country was built by strong women and we will continue to break down walls and defy stereotypes'-  Nancy Pelosi.

   International Women's Day is a perfect opportunity for us to express our appreciation of women and how they have brought ideas that has changed the world over the years. More than 100 years ago, women finally stood up and demanded better working conditions, the right to vote and be voted for. They also protested against employment sex discrimination. They came up with an idea of equality for all women.
 A woman is the companion of a man, gifted by God, they are the architects of the society and make the world complete. We appreciate their suffrage, pain, tears, and anguishes that they have successfully battled over the years. A woman brings love, care and beauty.

On this day, it is customary for men to give the women in their lives – friends, mothers, wives, girlfriends, daughters, colleagues, etc. – flowers and small gifts. Not just gifts, but also appreciate the good works they've done in their lives and how they've been able to mold and shape them.

Without a woman, the world is ugly.  So not only celebrating women's day will do, it is imperative to make every woman in our life special.
