HOW TO DEAL WITH A SOCIOPATH

Sociopaths are people with antisocial personality disorder. The essential features of a personality disorder are impairments in interpersonal and self functioning along with the presence of pathological personality traits. You see dealing with a sociopath explains how to interact with someone who lies, cheats, manipulates and exploits. If you have no choice but to engage with him or her, this article will help you know how to protect yourself. Sociopaths are people who could also be diagnosed with antisocial, narcissistic, borderline, psychopathic personality disorders, they don't follow rules of regular human interaction. It is estimated that one out of 25 people is a sociopath. These people can actually appear to be normal but they live their lves by manipulating others. If you must interact with a sociopath, you have to always be on high alert. Let me hint you on attributes of a sociopath: 1. Ego centered identity 2. Goal setting based on personal gratification. 3. Lack of concern for feelings, needs or suffering of others. 4. Incapacity for mutually intimate relationships, as exploitations is a primary means of relating to others. 5. Manipulative, deceitful, callous, hostile, impulsive, irresponsible and risktaking. One thing that differentiate a sociopath to a psychopath is that they carry out their evil actions immediately even without thinking about the outcome but a psychopath takes his/her time to plane and execute their plans. These are tips that will help you to deal/relate with a sociopath: 1. Be Careful Of What You Say Aound A Sociopath: Sociopaths seem to have an uncanny ability to take information from the simplest conversations and use it to manipulate circumstances for their own benefit. Sociopaths often use small pieces of information to twist facts and to create doubt. Any information you have about your success or the growth of your life or business, keep it to yourself as a sociopath may use this information to turn things in their favor, even if it means hurting you. 2. Avoid Trying To Fix Them: There os no cure of antisocial personality disorder, psychopaths and sociopaths generally have no conscience or no ability to connect with a sense of moral conscience because of their self-inflated ego and sense of entitlement. Sociopaths need professional help, you will not be able to help them change on your own. This may be frustrating because sociopaths rarely seek treatment, they usually do not believe they need help. 3. Avoid Confrontation When Possible: It is important to understand that because they are not influenced by their consience, some sociopaths can be dangerous and reckless people, they resort to violence when they feel threatened, so it is advisable to avoid confrontation when possible. 4. Stay Alert: If you find yourself in an uncomfortable situation, it is okay to go somewhere safe. Further, if you feel you are in a dangrous situation with a sociopath, call 767 right away.
