PMS (Practical Marketing and Selling)

Image
I am sure you will all agree with me that in recent years the need for marketers has greatly  Increased; virtually every organization in Nigeria now requests for 90% of the  services of the workforce to work as a marketer or sales persons, and the remaining 10% to share the administrative and managerial work. It is therefore obvious that the majority if available jobs is in marketing and the 90% of Nigerians in the labour market have no choice than to go for those jobs whether they have marketing experience or not. That is why we find engineers, pharmacists, geologists, accountants, economists, microbiologists, bio-chemists and many more in the marketing  department selling company  products-- doing the duties of marketers.  Certainly this will have negative effect on the company’s sales, productivity, brand image, customer satisfaction and loyalty and company's growth in general.

ACID-TEST OF A FINANCIAL FREEDOM

Image
By: Dunmoye Femi           Just like any laboratory in pure science, accounting as a social science, also has its laboratory, where experiment is being carried out to know the financial strength of a company or an individual as a corporate body.                 Some school of taught call it  “accounting workshop”, where we can know or have the idea of the financial position of a particular company, furthermore, to know the power of current assets in term of cash over the ability of the company. The current assets of the company in term of cash is charged against the liability of the company, if eventually, the ratio of the current assets of the business in term of cash, is more than its liability, it means the company is in good financial position. On the other way round if the ratio of the liability is more than that of the assets of the company, it means such a company is in trouble, it is getting a clear signal that, and anything can happen to such a company a

ANTIBIOTIC ABUSE AND INAPPROPRIATE USE OF MEDICATIONS

Image
MY CAREER HEALTH TIPS Dr Samuel Awosolu                                                                In a society where large majorities are set in looking for quick fixes, hustle and bustle rat race life style.    It does not seem out of place that the aura of medication for any ailment rather than consulting the appropriate professional would rather go for concoctions pills, capsules etc. The society is almost certainly lawless regards regulation of peddling of all manners of drugs, medications, ‘wonder’ drugs.  The field of dentistry is teeming with many instances of self medication rather than professional advice. Oral health problems when confronted in the surgery are often at the late stages of its evolution. When the pairs has become unbearable, the pain is intense, sharp and often vacillating to the extent sleep becomes impossible. Also feeding, drinking water, cold or hot. The picture is that of headache, ear ache, the person sometimes out of desperation
